Families from the Riccarton community and Riccarton Baptist Church had a great weekend together when the Oak Development Trust's annual summer camp was held at Waipara on the weekend of 12-14 January 2018.

The camp was an amazing weekend together, and there were so many things that made it a great time. Like the enthusiastic team that made it happen, and the way everyone encouraged each other and worked together with activities, games and duties. There was an amazing effort put in each morning with the cabin competition. We had a fun camp concert around the camp fire, and we had Donna come to tell us bedtime stories every night. Well done to all who challenged themselves with the various activities, whether that be high ropes, vertical swing, archery, rafting or making the human pyramid as part of the mission challenge.
